La Sociedad Internacional de Automatización, ISA por sus siglas en inglés, es una asociación profesional sin fines de lucro fundada en 1945 para crear un mundo mejor a través de la automatización. ISA adquiere competencia técnica enlazando a la comunidad de la automatización para alcanzar la excelencia operacional. La organización desarrolla estándares globalmente utilizados, certifica profesionales de la industria, provee capacitación y entrenamiento, publica libros y artículos técnicos, organiza conferencias y ferias y, facilita el networking y programas de desarrollo profesional para sus miembros y clientes de todo el mundo.
Las secciones estudiantiles de ISA se encuentran en diferentes campus en todo el mundo. Al ser parte de la Sección, se tiene la oportunidad de participar en una amplia variedad de actividades que permiten desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo.
La Sección Estudiantil ISA-UQUER es una asociación sin fines de lucro a la que pueden pertenecer todos los estudiantes interesados en instrumentación, control y automatización de procesos. La Sección mantiene contacto con los principales actores de la automatización en el Estado de Querétaro con el fin de acercar a los estudiantes al mundo real de las carreras de Ingeniería que no siempre es posible hacer con los cursos regulares en el aula.
Ser una vía de constante actualización para los estudiantes de Ingeniería en Automatización por medio de publicaciones especializadas que ofrece ISA, así como talleres, conferencias y visitas que fortalezcan su formación profesional.
Ser el inicio de una membresía permanente en la organización basada en búsqueda proactiva de información actualizada, estándares y desarrollo profesional.
- Ser un enlace entre los estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería en Automatización y los avances de la ciencia y la tecnología de la Automatización.
- Fomentar la participación activa por parte de los integrantes de las carreras donde aborden conocimientos de Automatización, Instrumentación y Control de Procesos.
- Ser una Sección trascendente en la vida estudiantil de nuestra escuela.

Estándares de Automatización – ISA ha publicado más de 150 estándares, prácticas recomendadas, y reportes técnicos a través de los esfuerzos dedicados de toda una red de expertos de la industria.
Biblioteca Técnica – Tendrás acceso ilimitado a descargas de esta biblioteca que cuenta con más de 5,500 documentos técnicos.
Revista InTech – Recibe una suscripción gratuita a la versión digital de la revista InTech, la revista de referencia para los profesionales de la automatización, así como la suscripción al complemento semanal Automation Weekly.
Membresía por división técnica – Únete a una red de profesionales de la automatización, que comparten tus intereses técnicos.
Transacciones ISA – Ten acceso libre en línea a artículos que abarcan los últimos avances en la ciencia y la ingeniería de instrumentación y automatización.

The International Society of Automation (ISA) is a non-profit professional association founded in 1945 to create a better world through automation. Student Sections meet regularly on campuses throughout the world. Section involvement offers an opportunity to participate in a variety of useful programs and activities and to develop leadership skills.
Student Section ISA-UQUER is a non-profit association to which every student who is interested in automation, instrumentation and control, could be part of. This Section is in contact with the main actors of Automation, regionally, in order to make the students be closer to the real world of engineering careers, that it is not always possible to reach in the Classroom only.
To be the mean to be up to date in automation topics for all the students, trough specialized publications, workshops, webinars and visit to some industrial facilities that strength their professional career.
To be the beginning of a permanent membership at ISA, based on proactive search of information, standards and professional development.

ISA is recognized globally for the development of consensus industry standards for automation technologies and applications in key areas such as security, safety, batch control, enterprise integration, wireless communications, traditional instrumentation, measurement, and control; and has produced more than 150 standards documents. 4,000+ automation professionals, on 140 committees/subcommittees, have been involved in the development of ISA standards.
Publishing – ISA publishes hundreds of books, the bimonthly magazine, InTech, thousands of technical papers, and the award-winning journal ISA Transactions. Currently and, because of the pandemic, the new student committee is under re-construction the new student. Next august, 2021, the new announcement to integrate the 2021-2022 committee, will be published with the support of teacher Ednah G. González Rivera.
